Phase-space imaging to see through scattering media
One of the biggest challenges in microscopy and neural imaging is seeing through the scattering tissue present in biology. As light is scatterd by cellular structures, spatial information is randomized and becomes much more difficult to recover. Working with Herbert Liu in Laura Waller's lab lab, we have been developing algorithms to enable visualization through highly scattering media.
Our 3D imaging in volumetric scattering media using phase-space measurements project attempts to enable seeing through scattering media by exploiting phase-space imaging, also known as light-field imaging.
